Born in 1997 in Adana, Ezgi Su Apaydın started violin with Daniya Kainova, then with Marina Kvlivdze at the Çukurova University State Conservatory and with Muhammedjan Turdiev at the Bilkent University Music and Performing Arts between 2012-2015.

Her debut as soloist was with the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra when she was 12. She also performed as soloist with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, İzmir State Symphony Orchestra, Bursa Regional Symphony Orchestra, Hacettepe Academic Symphony Orchestra and Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. In 2007, she became a member of the Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Rengim Gökmen and gave concerts with the orchestra both in Turkey and abroad.

She was awarded first prizes in the 4th Gülden Turalı Violin Competition and 7th International “Bravo!” Young Violinists Competition held in Namur-Belgium. She also received the second prize in the Emil Kamilarov International Young Violin Virtuoso Competition in 2010, and third prizes in the 55th Kocian Violin Competition held in Czech Republic in 2013 and in the 1st Suna Kan Violin Competition held in Ankara.

She gave a recital in the Shining Stars concert series by İş Sanat in the 2017-2018, and then received the third prize that was dedicated in the memory of Meriç Soylu. Ezgi Su Apaydın currently continues her studies with Mintcho Mintchev at the Folkwang University for Arts in Essen.
