Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra is the resident orchestra of the İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts.
33rd International İstanbul Music Festival’s opens with a grand performance of Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic, resident orchestra of the İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts under the baton of Pavel Kogan, the glorious conductor of the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. One of the most brilliant of the Russian pianists Alexander Melnikov and Gabriel Posderescu join the orchestra in Shostakovich’s concerto. The famous Carmen Suite, a suitable finale for the opening will prepare the audience for the reception in the historical aura of the Archaeological Museum.
