Pelin Öztürk was born in 2009 in Odessa, Ukraine. She began her piano studies at the age of five at Trio Sanat Academy with Özkan Çavuşoğlu. She was later admitted to the Bursa Uludağ State Conservatory, where she continued her piano education with Çağdaş Özkan while also beginning to compose.

During this period, she worked with Katerina Boyko and Elena Çekiç and received first and second prizes in various national and international competitions. Among her awards are: Finalist at the 1st National İBB Children’s Composition Competition in 2020; first prize at the Stars of Tenerife Piano Competition; Laureate of the International Classical Music Competition in Serbia in 2021; finalist at the 2nd National Children’s Composition Competition; second prize diploma at the XII International Gnessin Academy Composition Competition in Moscow; second prize at the Stars of Tenerife International Piano Competition; Laureate at the 2022 QALSALQA International 6 Hands Piano Competition in Kazakhstan; first prize in the ‘Six Hands’ category at the International Classical Music Competition ‘Angel Voice’ in Serbia; and an invitation to the 19th Vladimir Spivakov Foundation Festival.

In 2023, she appeared as soloist, composer, and accompanist in a piano and violin recital at Bursa Nilüfer Municipality Uğur Mumcu Stage and participated in the Balıkesir Zihnilatif Piano Competition and Festival. In 2024, she took part in the International İhsan Doğramacı Composition Competition, won second prize at the 18th International Pera Piano Competition, attended the Allegro Vivo Festival masterclass with Professor Tichonov in Austria, and received first prize at the Stars of Tenerife Piano Competition.

In 2025, she gave a solo recital, won first prize at the Musikfeuerwerk in Baden-Württemberg International Competition, and first prize at the Sunartist International Competition. She was also admitted to the pre-college piano programme at the Haydn Conservatory in Austria and participated again in the Allegro Vivo Festival, as well as performing at a Lions Foundation concert. She received second prize at the 12th International Heirs of Orpheus Piano Competition.

Since 2022, she has continued her piano studies with Yıldız Aslanova, alongside masterclasses and competitions including Allegro Vivo, Stars of Tenerife, and Pera. She is currently studying composition with Galina Press, alongside music theory and harmony training.

Her compositions include ‘Kurtuluş Destanı’ for string trio, a Concerto in C minor for string orchestra, and a Piano Sonata in A major. She is continuing her education at the Joseph Haydn Private Hochschule Pre-College Piano Department and works with Stanislav Tichonow.
