Çağla Ulusev was born in 2002 in Istanbul. She started her music education by playing piano. In 2016, she started her viola education at Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School. In 2018, she won the part-time programme of Istanbul University State Conservatory. In 2020, she was awarded the first prize at the King's Peak music competition. She earned the right to give a recital by winning the “Shining Stars” selection of İş Sanat for the 2022/23 season. During her education Ulusev had the opportunity to work with Miguel da Silva, Tatjana Masurenko, Ali Başeğmezler, Sheila Browne, Garth Knox and Matthew Hunter. She continues to study as a third year undergraduate student with Beste Tıknaz Modiri at Istanbul University State Conservatory.
