Born in Istanbul in 2005, Ayben Sever got admitted to the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory in 2015 and started her flute studies with Ayla Uludere. In 2018, she won the Young Soloists auditions organised by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, and performed with Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra. In 2019, she passed the auditions and performed as a soloist for the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Young Symphony Orchestra. She won the first place in the 4th International Flute Competition held in Bulgaria in 2019, the first place at the Silk Way International Music Competition held in Georgia in 2020, and the first place at the A Tutto Flauto Competition in 2021. She came second in the 2nd Falaut Virtuoso Prize competition, which was held in 2021. She won the Doğuş Children's Symphony Orchestra auditions in 2022 and earned the right to take part in the orchestra. The same year, she was chosen as the second flute in the “New Year Concert” performed by the Cemal Reşit Rey Symphony Orchestra at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall under the baton of Murat Cem Orhan. She won the 3rd place in the Cahit Koparal International Flute Competition held in Marmaris. She also won the best Turkish work interpreter award, and earned the right to perform with the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Orchestra in the 2023 season. She was selected to the Contemporary Life Youth Orchestra. She won the Laureate award by getting full points at the Davorin Jenko International Music Competition held in Belgrade, Serbia. She attended masterclasses of flautists such as Lydia Oshavkova, Zoya Vyazovskaya, Georgi Spassov, Gülşen Tatu, Ece Karsal, Sibel Pensel, Mario Caroli, Jurgen Franz. She also had the opportunity to attend the masterclasses of James Galway, Lady Jeanne Galway, Kersten Mccall, Ulla Miilmann, Gareth Davies as part of the “Birthday Festival” organised by Sir James Galway, and worked with Nicola Mazzanti. Ayben Sever continues her flute studies with Ayla Uludere as a 12th grade student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory.
