Born in 2001 in Istanbul, Ramona Kemmer studies piano with Eser Bilgeman Şakir at the Istanbul University State Conservatory, and at the German High School at the same time.
She received her first prize, “Promising Young Talent of the Year”, in the Vienna Young Pianists Festival in 2010 and performed the first movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 19, KV 459 with pianist Mami Marimoto in the Ehrbar Saal in 2012. She was also awarded with first prizes in the International Pera Piano Competition and Jugend Musiziert German National Competition both in 2016 and 2017, and the second prize in the Kamuran Gündemir National Piano Competition. In 2017, she gave a concert in the Alexandria Library in Egypt as a result of her first prize in the Jugend Musiziert German National Competition. She also studied with some of the significant pianists including Gülsin Onay, Ilia Itin, Badura Scoda, Stephan Möller and Bernhard Parz. She appeared as a soloist in a concert with Istanbul University State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Ramiz Melik Aslanov in Mai 2017.
