Born in 1997 in Iskenderun, Ezgi Göktürk started her music education with Diler Argat at the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in 2007. She studied history of modern music, blues and jazz, and orchestration with Ilhan Baran in 2009. In 2010, she started accompanying various choirs of Çiğdem Aytepe and Atilla Çağdaş Değer. In 2012, she performed Kabalevsky’s 3. Piano Concerto with the Hitit Philharmonic Orchestra. She also attended masterclasses of Marylene Mouquet, Ben Roels, Roberto d’Olbia and Victor Rosenbaum. Ezgi Göktürk received the third prize in the 9th Pera Piano Competition in 2014, and the “Best Duo Prize” with pianist Zeynep Ülbegi in 2015. She also took part in the Béla Bartók Music Festival and Symposium and in a concert that was aired live by TRT Radio 3 in 2015. Again in 2015, she studied with Joseph Paratore at the Mozarteum, and with Hüseyin Sermet and Saleem Ashkar within the scope of 16th Antalya Piano Festival. In the 2015-2016 season, she accompanied the Choir of Sevda-Cenap And Music Foundation under the direction of Fatma Bildiren. In 2016, she took part in different projects of the Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra, and went to the Sibelius Academy in Finland as an Erasmus student. Ezgi Göktürk currently studies with Erik T. Tawaststjerna at the Sibelius Academy.
