Born in 1998, Denizsu Polat started her music education in the early music education program of the Bilkent University. She was also a member of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism State Choir for Children, with which she gave concerts in different countries and received prizes in different competitions. She started viola with Murat Cangal at the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in 2009, and gave concerts as soloist with the Orchestra Academic Başkent and Hacettepe Academic Symphony Orchestra. She also attended masterclasses of Nobuko Imai, Marco Misciagna, Manuela Matis, Ildiko Moog, Hartmut Lindemann, Ellen Jewett, Ali Başeğmezler, Atilla Aldemir and Barbara Westphal. In 2014, she became a member of the Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra. A year later, she performed the task of principal viola in the Hacettepe Youth Symphony Orchestra and Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra, and attended Ankara Youth Orchestra as viola player. After entering the Mozarteum in 2016, she became a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonic and gave concerts with the orchestra in Germany and Austria in 2017. She was one of the finalists in the Anton Rubinstein Viola Competition of 2018. Denizsu Polat currently continues her study with Veronika Hagen at the Mozarteum.
