• Sara Correia’s new album Tempestade:
  All by women composers, weaving love, longing, and resilience.

Known as the ‘hurricane of fado’, Sara Correia brings her “Tempestade” (Storm) tour to the Istanbul Music Festival, following a sold-out launch at Lisbon’s MEO Arena in early March. In this all-female-written program, she navigates love and rage, longing and resilience with commanding stage presence, transforming emotion into a powerful, immersive experience set against the enchanting backdrop of the Istanbul Archaeology Museum.

General sale opens at 10.30 on Tuesday 28 April. Priority booking opens at 10.30 on Friday 24 April for Black Tulip Card members, at 14.30 the same day for White Tulip Card members, and at 10.30 on Monday 27 April for Red Tulip Card members. ACCESSIBILITY

• The venue is approximately 900 metres from Gülhane Tram Stop and can be reached via a route that is largely step-free, with slight inclines in parts; Sultanahmet Bus Stop is around 750 metres away, Sirkeci Marmaray Station is 1,200 metres away, and Eminönü Ferry Terminal can be reached on foot in approximately 20–25 minutes.
• For visitors using wheelchairs or with reduced mobility, the museum entrance may be used as a drop-off and pick-up point; the entrance is step-free; the museum courtyard is accessible for wheelchair users, although the ground is cobbled, and on-site staff can provide assistance if needed; there is also a designated viewing area for wheelchair users.
• There is one accessible toilet for women and one for men on the event floor.
