The Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra has built up an exceptional international reputation, marked by concerts in more than 50 countries, during the course of half a century since its inception. The Orchestra will collaborate with the internationally celebrated Turkish pianist Gülsin Onay and the Hungarian Gabor Boldoczki, who is hailed internationally as “the worthy successor” of the all-time trumpet king Maurice André, in the Shostakovich concerto, known to be one of the most electrifying creations of the contemporary literature, in which dreamy lyrical passages follow outbreaks of the wildest sort, marked by the avant-garde impetus.
