Regarded among the finest interpreters of the Romantic repertoire, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen visits the festival for two concerts, which offer music lovers the very culmination of the Romantic era. The orchestra will perform under the baton of the Estonian-American conductor and Grammy Award winner Paavo Järvi with Christian Tetzlaff, whose rendition of the Brahms violin concerto is in fact considered a benchmark.
