The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival is pleased to present Turkey’s pioneering AIMA, with its chamber orchestra and two eminent soloists. Cellist Alexander Rudin, who is undoubtedly one of the leading figures of the Russian school of musical interpretation and whose proficiency as cellist, pianist, teacher and conductor, exhibits a universal musicianship characteristic of other great artists of the Russian school joins an internationally acclaimed soloist, chamber musician, and jazz clarinetist, the great Julian Milkis for the AIMA Festival Orchestra’s festival debut.
