The Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra of Venezuela is one of the most important products of the orchestral academic programme of the Fundación Musical Simón Bolívar - or as it is commonly known, El Sistema. The Istanbul Music Festival is extremely pleased to give audiences the opportunity to witness this fascinating concert, an overwhelming experience in both musical and human terms. The festival will further host a series of complementary events in collaboration with local youth orchestras, notably with the Music for Peace Orchestra and Choir, to share and spread the passionate belief in the power of music
