Nelson Freire, acknowledged as “one of the finest pianists alive today” not only for his utmost harmony with the music’s innate poetry but also for his astonishing diversity of texture and touch, will be a guest at the festival with a concert that marks his debut appearance with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra.
