The festival hosts Turkey premiere of the distinguished composer Michael Ellison’s contemporary piece of music theatre “Say I am You” in coproduction with the Rotterdam Operadagen to mark the 400th anniversary of the Netherlands-Turkey diplomatic relations. This inspirational project throws boundaries of theatrical, intercultural, and musical clichés aside, creating a lively theatrical immediacy in probing Mevlana’s relationship with his mentor.

This concert is organised within the framework of the celebrations of 400 years of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey.
