A pioneer of innovative sounds, accordeonist Richard Galliano who blends lyricism and swing in an amazing way is coming to Istanbul with his ensemble to present the world-famous Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla’s warmth and passion. With his own septet comprised of classical musicians, the French accordeon virtuoso, composer, and arranger Richard Galliano salutes his mentor Astor Piazzolla. Galliano, who made his first album with the legendary trumpet player Chet Baker, has collaborated with musicians such as Ron Carter, Chick Corea, Charlie Haden, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Michel Petrucciani, Toots Thielemans and Joe Zawinul. Do not miss the opportunity to set out upon a journey with Galliano and his ensemble to Buenos Aires, a city of love, passion, hatred, anger and endearment, accompanied by the sombre compositions of Piazzolla.
