Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra is the resident orchestra of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts.

Istanbul Music Festival welcomes the world famous soprano Renée Fleming for the first time in Turkey! She is described as “one of the truly magnificent voices of our time”. Fleming’s career is full of innumerable successes, including a third Grammy Award for her latest Decca CD Verismo. Her astonishing interpretive talent, commanding performances, and outstanding career successes have won the hearts of critics, while her striking stage presence has won the hearts of her fans. In this special concert Fleming will be accompanied by the Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Sascha Goetzel, resident ensemble of the İKSV.
