with Aydın Büke on “Chopin’s Scherzi and Polonaises”

To be held in Turkish without simultaneous translation.

Piano virtuoso Zeynep Üçbaşaran, who found international fame with the awards she won at the Los Angeles Liszt Competition in 2000, will be performing Chopin’s Polonaises evoking the composer’s homesickness and rebellion, and his complete scherzos marked with vigour and intensity. Constantly building her reputation with successful projects abroad and concerts in prestigious concert halls like the Wigmore Hall, the artist has an illustrious career with her albums. In this concert, Chopin’s 200th birthday will turn into a musical feast by the artist who performs with great talent and intense energy, and manages to enhance “classical” thrills with her sensitive and creative technique.
