with AyşeDeniz Gökçin on “Chopin’s Romanticism”*
To be held in Turkish without simultaneous translation.
We invite you to discover two young pianists at their first performances at the İstanbul Music Festival with nocturnes and ballads evoking deep thoughts and profound melancholy. AyşeDeniz Gökçin, who received the “Best Concerto” award with Chopin’s piano concerto at the IBLA Competition in Italy at the age of 10, and Furkan Özyazıcı, who won a bronze medal at the Asian International Chopin Competition in 2006, will perform Chopin’s difficult and demanding works in this concert.
