With his new work titled “Il Duello Amoroso” featuring Händel’s secular cantatas, Andreas Scholl, the most famous contra tenor of our time, returns to İstanbul once again! Accompanied by Accademia Bizantina under the direction of Ottavio Dantone, acclaimed for bringing vigor and creativity to baroque music interpretation with period instruments, the famous contra tenor shares the stage with the young French-Canadian soprano star of the operas, Hélène Guilmette. Featuring the prominent 18th century baroque composer Händel who never married and kept his romantic life discreet, “Love Duel” will become a vocal feast with Scholl and Guilmette in this concert night.
