One of the most touring and recorded opera companies of the world, the historical Mariinsky Theatre’s Kirov Opera Orchestra appears with their great conductor Valery Gergiev in another ‘Russian’ evening. Gergiev, a respected conductor performing with the most prominent orchestras in the most prominent music centres and Kirov, fascinating the audience with their perfect interpretation of Russian music will perform Tchaikovsky’s 6th and Shostakovich’s 10th Symphonies at this highlight concert of the Festival.
