A pioneer of the world music and the last representative of the Erguner tradition in nay playing, the nay master Kudsi Erguner will present a project he has realised with Carolyn Carlson - an outstanding name in Modern Dance. This project will be given its world premiere at the İstanbul Music Festival. Erguner was inspired by the Mevlevi music on top of which Carlson added her choreography. The project will be complemented by a world-renowned calligrapher of Iraqi origin, Hassan Massoudy, who will present his calligraphy as part of the performance.
