Concerto Köln and Sarband will perform together in a most noteworthy concert in the 33rd Festival. Concerto Köln is a pioneering ensemble specialised in period music while Sarband builds a bridge between the Orient and the Occident with the link that they have established between the Europe , Islam cultures and the music of the Jews. The programme of the concert includes works themed around or composed in the East by such distinct names as Dmitri Cantemir, Gluck, Gazi Giray Han and Mozart.
