Born in Bursa in 2005, Berin Gökçe İlhan is a third-year student at the Bursa Uludağ University State Conservatory, where she studies in the Cello Department of the String Instruments Division.

She continues her studies under Dr. İdil Onaran, and in the spring semester of 2025 she studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater ‘Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’ Leipzig in the cello class of Prof. Peter Bruns. She has had the opportunity to work with distinguished musicians including Prof. Gary Hoffman, Prof. Frans Helmerson, Prof. Peter Bruns, Prof. Jacob Spahn, Prof. Julian Steckel, Prof. Troels Svane, Prof. Jan Ickert, Prof. Ophélie Gaillard, Prof. Jose Enrique Bouché, Prof. Jiannis Toulis, Prof. Dimas Moreno Montoro, Prof. Jiří Bárta, Prof. Gustav Rivinius, Prof. Şölen Dikener, Prof. Dilbağ Tokay, Assoc. Prof. Melih Kara, Assoc. Prof. Gözde Yaşar, Prof. Sinan Dizmen, Nil Kocamangil, Münif Akalın, Poyraz Baltacıgil, Çağ Erçağ and Dorukhan Doruk.

She has studied chamber music with Prof. Frank Reinecke, Prof. Vineta Sareika, Prof. Görkem Çalgan, Assoc. Prof. Mutlu Varlık Kocaili, Elena Ünaldı and Çağdaş Özkan; orchestral studies with Prof. Jérémie Baduel; and répétiteur coaching with Prof. Özgür Ünaldı and Madoka Ito. She has performed with various orchestras under the baton of conductors including Prof. Cem Mansur, Prof. Rengim Gökmen, Prof. Murat Cem Orhan, Prof. Hakan Şensoy, Prof. Sedat Dağhan Doğu, Prof. Artun Hoinic, Prof. Tolga Taviş, Prof. Hasan Niyazi Tura, Prof. Tarık Tal and Prof. Deniz Tan.

In 2025, as part of the ‘İş Sanat Parlayan Yıldızlar Concert Series’, she performed J. Brahms’s Cello Sonata in F major alongside works by G. Cassadó and C. Debussy. In addition to her recital and chamber music appearances, she has performed in Rome, Palermo, Sicily, Istanbul (AKM), CSO Ada Ankara and Cappadocia in 2023; and in 2025, with the Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival including concerts at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, as well as in Vienna, Prague, Bratislava, Istanbul (AKM), Bursa and Denizli.

A member of the Bursa Uludağ University Youth Symphony Orchestra, Berin Gökçe İlhan has also performed with the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra, Bursa Chamber Orchestra, Nilüfer Chamber Orchestra, Balıkesir Culture Orchestra and Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra.
