Hagia Eirene, the setting for festival’s colorful meetings charged with excitement and music, hosts a breathtaking trio on the second night of the Festival Meetings bringing together Frank Braley, Renaud Capuçon and Clemens Hagen for the first time on stage. Grimaud, who has worked with all the greatest orchestras and conductors of our time, Capuçon, who is distinguished among young violinists with his enticing technique and silky-smooth tone, and Clemens Hagen, who is the recipient of the Vienna Philharmonic and Karl Böhm Awards, come together to give the privilege of listening Shostakovich, Ravel and Schumann performed by a magnificent trio.
